Waiting For Bears Season Tickets

Soldier field is currently hosting the Hockey City Classic Winter Festival. Normally I would complain about the Chicago Park District holding some type of non-football event on such sacred ground, but not this time. It’s February and the Bears stopped playing football three months ago, at least it feels that way. However, I do have to wonder why the Bears did not offer a night of skating at Soldier Field to us, members of their season ticket waiting list.

Alright, that title was a stretch. The Chicago Bears were not super this year. They showed flashes of brilliance and offensive power, but never put the pieces together to become an offensive juggernaut.

For 17 weeks every season, Chicago Bears fans and Minnesota Vikings fans are enemies. We heckle, taunt, and jeer one another for hours on end. But this weekend we must unite!

This past weekend we made the 475 mile trip from Chicago to Nashville to watch the Bears take on the Titans. I had a feeling it was going to be a fun game with a big group of Bears fans in attendance since it wasn’t too far from home.
