It looks like Chicago Bears football is right around the corner. With a little bit of luck, and maybe a Bears Prayer, there will be a new CBA in place and the lockout will end this week. Expecting this to happen, the Bears will release single game tickets to the public this Thursday, July 28, at 11:00 AM. Since I’m a member of the season ticket priority list and just received the latest exclusive offer from the Chicago Bears ticket office, I don’t have to wait that long!

As we all know the NFL Lockout has been in place for some time now, 129 days to be exact. Teams have been unable to contact their players. Playbooks haven’t been dispersed. With the CBA set to expire this Thursday Friday evening many football fans are wondering what the upcoming 2011 NFL season will look like. Will the NFLPA and Owners come to an agreement before OTAs? Before pre-season? Before regular season? Will the regular season be changed to 18 games, therefore altering pre-season preparations which will be cut short due to long negotiations leaving the fans with poorly executed early season games? While I am part of this group I also wonder how the Bears season ticket waiting list will be affected.

Brian patiently awaits CBA resolution.
